Terms of Service

1. Service Description
AnswerBot Inc. ("AnswerBot", "we") provides an AI-powered missed-call text-back service for businesses. When a call to your business goes unanswered, our system automatically sends a text message to the caller on your behalf.
2. Free Trial
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial. During the trial period:
- No credit card is required to start
- Full service features are available (per your selected tier)
- The trial ends automatically after 14 days
- To continue service after the trial, a paid subscription is required
- If no payment is received, the account will be paused and automated messaging will stop
3. Subscription and Billing
All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD). Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe. You may cancel at any time; service continues until the end of the current billing period.
- Starter: $49/month CAD
- Growth: $99/month CAD
- Pro: $179/month CAD
4. Acceptable Use
You agree to use AnswerBot only for legitimate business communications. You must not:
- Send spam or unsolicited commercial messages through the service
- Use the service to harass, threaten, or defraud anyone
- Violate CASL, PIPEDA, or any applicable law
- Misrepresent your identity or business
5. CASL Compliance
AnswerBot operates in compliance with Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). All automated messages include opt-out mechanisms. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the service complies with CASL and all applicable regulations. Evidence of consent is automatically documented and retained for 3 years.
6. Data and Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our service, you agree to our privacy practices as described therein.
7. Service Availability
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We are not liable for damages arising from service interruptions, delayed messages, or failed deliveries.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AnswerBot's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
