2. Information We Collect

Business Account Information: Business name, business type, email address, phone number, and billing information provided during signup.

Call and Message Data: Phone numbers of callers to your business, SMS message content, call timestamps, and delivery status. This data is collected to provide our text-back service.

Usage Data: Service usage metrics including call counts, message counts, and response times for analytics and billing.

Website Visitors: Standard web analytics data (page views, browser type) collected via Cloudflare Analytics. No cookies are used for tracking.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and improve our missed-call text-back service
  • To send operational emails (daily summaries, alerts, billing notifications)
  • To comply with legal requirements (CASL, PIPEDA)
  • To send product updates and offers (with your consent, and you may unsubscribe at any time)

4. Data Retention

Operational logs: Retained for 30 days, then automatically deleted.

Audit logs (consent evidence, opt-outs): Retained for 3 years per CASL requirements.

Call and message data: Retained for the duration of your active subscription plus 90 days after cancellation.

Account data: Retained until you request deletion.

5. Your Rights Under PIPEDA

As a Canadian resident, you have the right to:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal information
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements)
  • Withdraw Consent: Withdraw consent for marketing communications at any time

6. CASL Compliance

All outbound SMS messages include a bilingual opt-out mechanism (Reply STOP/ARRET to unsubscribe). We honor opt-out requests immediately and permanently. Consent evidence is documented and retained for 3 years per CASL requirements.

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), access controls, and secure data storage. Our database is hosted on Supabase with row-level security enabled.

8. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to provide our product:

  • Twilio: SMS delivery (US-based, Standard Contractual Clauses)
  • Stripe: Payment processing (PCI DSS compliant)
  • Supabase: Database hosting (ca-central-1 region)
  • Cloudflare: CDN and DDoS protection
  • Postmark: Transactional email delivery

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to active subscribers. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was last revised.
